Last week, our school made a survey on how to keep healthy. I am Li Hua from Xingguang Middle School. The topic of my speech is “Let’s Ride Bicycle”. As we all know, the living surroundings around us have already changed, compared with many years ago. Especially with the growing amount of private cars, our environment has been polluted seriously. Air is not as fresh as that we used to breathe and traffic jam is a daily headache. Facing such an emergency, I hold a view that it is time that we adopted some necessary measures.

My suggestion is that riding bicycles will enjoy a great many benefits. First of all, we are encouraged to ride bikes instead of driving cars, for the bike is regarded as a low-carbon tooland can save much energy. In addition, if we choose the bicycle as the transport to go to school or work, it is an excellent chance for us to make exercise, which is good for our health.

Therefore, in order to establish an environmentally friendly society, it is our duty to ride bicycles.
